"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
Luke 6:38 |
Stewardship 2024 - Giving in different waysWe are thankful for all those who give on regular basis to the church (by standing order, by cheque, by Weekly Freewill Offering envelopes and in the open plate) and those who gift aid their giving. It is only through the generosity of our members that we are able to serve God in our parish.
If you would like to give in a different way then here are some options: 1) Convert your WFO offering to a standing order. We have set up a donate online button on our website which will enable you to do just that. The church bank account details are: Account Name: Kingshill Parish Church Sort Code: 83-28-40 Account No: 00257897 2) Continue to fill your WFO envelopes and we can receive these at any church service. 3) Post in a cheque made payable to Kingshill Parish Church to the church office or to the Treasurer. 4) We have a card machine at Trinity which can be used any time the church building is open to made donations in this way. We appreciate that for some of our members this period of time may be very uncertain in terms of finances. We understand that these options may not be suitable for you. We are doing everything in our control to reduce our costs and manage our finances and we pray for wisdom in how we respond to the challenges of this season together. |
Gift Aid |
Gift Aid - is a government scheme which enables the Church to reclaim the tax you have already paid on the money in your offering. The Church can reclaim tax at the rate of 25p for every £1 donated from 6 April 2014. Anyone who pays Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax can give through Gift Aid. A Gift Aid Declaration Form must be completed.
Offerings can be made through the Freewill Offering Envelopes, by Standing Order or by cheque. Donors will not have to pay extra tax, or reveal their income or the tax they pay. Giving through Gift Aid will help maintain and develop the work of the Church.
Anyone, wishing to sign a Gift Aid Declaration or requiring further information should contact Jim Menzies, Gift Aid Convener on 01224 742415.
