The Action Group
Kingshill Parish Church Action Group, with a committee of around 20 people, organises events for the over 65’s within our Church membership.
At present, we have the responsibility for organising a monthly Church service for those who are unable to attend on a Sunday. These are held on the first Wednesday of most months and have proved to be very successful with an average attendance of around 60. Tea and “a fine piece” round off the afternoon with an opportunity to chat to friends old and new. We also hold an annual Concert/Party for our members. This usually takes place in March.
Funds when required, are raised through various events.

Social Committee
The Social Committee's role is to arrange social events for members of the parish. The focus is squarely on fellowship and not fundraising, however any surplus is regenerated within the church funds. This gives opportunities to develop friendships and prevents social isolation.
Badminton Group
The Badminton group was formed in 2009 and is open to members and friends. The group meets on a Monday at 7.30pm for approximately 2 hours in the hall at Trinity Church.
A charge of £2 per adult and £1 per child is made to defray costs of heating and lighting.
The aim of the Group is to have a social evening, keep fit, have fun playing. Badminton racquets are available if required. The badminton club had a successful 2023-2024 season and numbers attending continued to increase. New members will be most welcome to join us.Badminton has stopped over the summer but will restart in Sept 2024
